The history

A passion for cufflinks and fine shirting led to the inception of this concept store and the opening of its first outlet, in Bangsar Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur on January 1, 2007.

A second store soon followed in August 2007, opening at the 1 Utama Shopping Centre in Bandar Utama.

Cuffz made its debut in Singapore this year, with its third outlet opening at Raffles City in May 2008. Its flagship store in Bangsar Village II opened in August 2008 and the brand has plans to further expand.

The cufflinks

Forget about the boring cufflinks of the yesteryears. Cufflinks today let the wearer express his individuality, charm and wittiness.

Cuffz recognises that need and its extensive cufflinks collection of over 2,500 designs ensures that there is something for everyone, be it a classic, bejewelled or novelty piece.

The brand has four key ranges – Novelty, Classic, Crystal and Semi-precious.

The Novelty range offers fun and sometimes themed designs. Sports fans can take their pick of footballs or racing cars while those in the festive mood can opt for seasonal picks like angels and snowflakes. The range’s best-seller, the alphabet cufflinks, comes in three different fonts and makes the perfect gift for those looking for something with a personal touch.

The Classic range with its clean, minimalist designs is perfect for those in looking to sport a more serious look but if flashy is what you’re looking for, the Swarovski crystal-studded cufflinks in the Crystal range should appeal to you.

For something with a touch of onyx, mother-of-pearl, lapis lazuli, tiger eye, opal, and birth stones like aquamarine, check out the Semi-precious range.

The brand’s cufflinks are rhodium-plated to enhance their shine and durability. Cuffz also carries silk knots, fabric cufflinks and some fine pieces made of sterling silver.

The shirts

Cuffz offers 100% premium cotton shirts for men and women. Cuffz believes that the cufflink shirts are equally as important as the cufflinks they will highlight hence the focus on the tailoring of the shirt.

Cuffz’s shirts use double yarn fabric (2-ply) and mainly have a silky, easy-care finish for a softer feel. That means the shirts, along with their harder collars and cuffs, are less likely to crease despite going through many washes.

Hate buttons popping off or having your shirt fray at the edges? No such flimsy thing here as Cuffz’s shirts have strong stitching at the seams and the thick mother-of-pearl buttons to ensure that they last longer.

And a good shirt is one where attention has been paid to the smallest details. Cuffz has seen to it that the yoke and sleeves of its shirts match at the stripes.

Sizes for the Cuffz shirts range from S to XXL for the men, and XS to XXL for the women.

The extras

Those looking for quality neckties can be assured of such a thing at Cuffz. Its neckties are made from 100% silk with thick wool interlining to give ties the weight and body. Wear the tie alone or embellish it with one of the many contemporary tie clips from the brand.

For dress studs, Cuffz offers a five-piece set instead of the usual four so that its customers have the flexibility of using the studs on tuxedos or the Baju Melayu. Those who like matching sets will be pleased to know that the stud sets come with matching cufflinks.
